Clinton expressed concern over protests at Columbia University, suggesting they were influenced by external groups rather than being student-led, which distorted the Israel-Palestinian narrative.
She noted, "A lot of students were caught up in that [protest], and a lot of the videos on social media gave... a totally anti-Israel, pro-Hamas view."
Reflecting on her discussions with students, she said: "I would be met with slogans... very inflammatory language" indicating a lack of factual understanding of historical context.
Clinton highlighted the ignorance of some protesters regarding the conflict's history, mentioning, "Do you know what happened in 2000 at Camp David? No."
