Briefly

In a CBS News '60 Minutes' interview, Vice President Kamala Harris expressed confidence about advancing her economic policies through a Republican-controlled Congress, despite potential opposition.
Harris stated, 'You know, when you talk quietly with a lot of folks in Congress, they know exactly what I'm talking about because their constituents know what I'm talking about; their constituents are those firefighters and teachers and nurses.'
When pressed about funding her policies, Harris emphasized her commitment to raising corporate taxes: 'Well, but we're going to have to raise corporate taxes. And we're going to have to raise -- we're going to have to make sure that the biggest corporations and billionaires pay their fair share.'
