Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir went on sale in London and reached number one on Amazon preorders. The memoir alleges three sexual encounters with Prince Andrew in London, New York and on Jeffrey Epstein's private island. Giuffre, a teenage victim of Epstein, died by suicide in April. Giuffre pursued a lawsuit against Prince Andrew that was settled out of court in 2022, accusing him of sexual abuse. Parliamentary action in the House of Commons seeks to formally strip Andrew of titles after his recent pledge to step back. Epstein's ties to Ghislaine Maxwell connected him to prominent British figures, prompting political fallout including a high-profile resignation.
