Roderic O'Gorman re-elected as Green leader
Briefly

Following a challenging general election, the Green Party retains leadership with the re-election of its party leader, who emphasizes the need to rebuild and reflect on past electoral losses. Significant appointments include Malcolm Noonan as the only party senator and Janet Horner as the new chairwoman. The absence of competing nominations allowed a straightforward election process. The leadership is committed to using a strategic plan to regain trust, enhance their advocacy for climate action, family support, and equality in future campaigns.
I'm honoured that the Green Party membership have expressed this confidence in me to continue as leader. Our party had a difficult election last year.
We are using the strategic plan process to listen, understand why we lost support in recent elections, and chart how we can rebuild our political strength.
