Reform UK pulled out of a BBC documentary titled The Rise of Reform amid a row over the BBC's editing of Donald Trump's January 6 speech. The planned film was to be presented by Laura Kuenssberg and produced by October Films. October Films had been involved in a Panorama programme that preceded the resignations of BBC director general Tim Davie and news chief Deborah Turness. The misleading edit was carried out by BBC staff, not October Films. An internal Reform memo urged members to decline participation, citing lost trust despite acknowledging October Films' professionalism. Trump threatened legal action and repeated his criticism on Fox News.
