Prosecutors are in close contact with police over separate investigations into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson and their alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein. Thames Valley Police is reviewing claims that Epstein provided Mountbatten-Windsor with a woman at Royal Lodge in 2010 and that Mountbatten-Windsor shared confidential trade envoy reports with Epstein. The Metropolitan Police is investigating Mandelson for alleged misconduct in public office over emails that may have leaked market-sensitive information to Epstein during the financial crisis. The allegations stem from US Department of Justice documents and released emails. Buckingham Palace said it would support any police investigation into Mountbatten-Windsor.
