Rivercity Superstore in Ealing retained its license after hiring a male worker whose visa expired 10 months prior. During a November 2025 immigration raid, the same worker was found employed again. The worker admitted to working 20 hours weekly. Mr. Kulwant Singh Bhatia, the license holder's husband, was previously banned for selling illegal tobacco and was found to be involved in the business. Ms. Bhatia claimed the worker had produced false documents and described the hiring as a mistake, despite previous illegal activities associated with the worker.
