Trial date set for trio charged over fires at Keir Starmer London properties

Three men have been charged in connection with arson attacks on properties linked to Sir Keir Starmer, including his former residence. The fires occurred in north London, with incidents reported on May 8 and May 12. The accused are Ukrainian national Roman Lavrynovych and Romanian national Stanislav Carpiuc, who appeared in court via videolink, as well as Petro Pochynok who declined to attend. They face serious charges and are remanded until an upcoming preliminary hearing set for October 17, with a trial date slated for April next year.
Lavrynovych and Carpiuc appeared at the hearing via videolink from HMP Belmarsh, speaking only to confirm their identities and dates of birth through an interpreter.
