A street that was renamed for its racist connotations has been defaced just one day.London's Black Boy Lane', in Tottenham, was rebranded La Rose Lane' on Monday in honour of celebrated black publisher John La Rose.The local authority said it had started a consultation into the planned name change following the Black Lives Matter protests over the summer of 2020.
