Southern Water reported a technical issue at its Testwood Water Supply Works, leading to low pressure and loss of water supply affecting thousands in Southampton and surrounding areas.
As a result of the water supply issue, Hampshire County Council has confirmed that ten schools were forced to close, sending pupils home to ensure their safety and well-being.
