Alicia Kearns highlighted the plight of Group Captain Lizzy Nicholl, who was forced to resign from the RAF for refusing to comply with illegal recruitment orders, emphasizing the pattern of unaddressed injustices within the RAF.
Kearns accused Sir Mike Wigston of lying regarding the illegal recruitment policy, stating, 'I have documents proving beyond doubt that the former chief of the air staff lied to the then-defence secretary about her case,' advocating for accountability.
She criticized the inadequate compensation offered to Nicholl during the purdah election period, calling it 'a derisory 2,000,' and urged the Prime Minister to meet to address these wrongs.
Kearns emphasized that despite numerous inquiries vindicating Nicholl, the RAF and Ministry of Defence failed to provide fair compensation, allowing those responsible for the injustice to escape accountability.
