Police received reports of a man attempting to rob and sexually assault women on Camden High Street on 14 January. Officers initially spoke to the women, and CCTV later revealed an unknown man who intervened to protect them. The intervening man repeatedly positioned himself between the women and the intoxicated male and remained until the women were safe. Police believe the intervening man is a key witness and have published a physical description including clothing and a distinctive red beanie hat with a yellow logo. Other witnesses are urged to call 101 with reference 01/7057429/26.
