Police have launched an investigation after CCTV captured a woman taking a box of langoustines from the porch of Michelin-starred Elystan Street restaurant in Chelsea. The incident occurred around 8am as staff prepared for service and the package contained about £200 worth of shellfish. The restaurant posted the footage on Instagram and asked the public to help identify the woman. Owner and chef Phil Howard posted the clip and publicly condemned the theft. Police confirmed the suspect stole produce on 25 November and that the victim reported the matter on 26 November.
