A Metropolitan Police officer has sparked fury after telling a Jewish woman that swastikas need to be taken in context at a pro-Palestine rally.
The officer admitted to not having in-depth knowledge about signs and symbols, acknowledging the swastika's use during Nazi Germany.
The woman pleaded for the officer to acknowledge the swastika as antisemitic, but he advised her to go to another officer as he couldn't leave his area of responsibility.
