Carla Georgescu, 19, was found dead at her accommodation on Victoria Street in Preston on Thursday afternoon. Lancashire Constabulary treated the death as suspicious after officers attended following reports of a sudden death. A 34-year-old man known to Ms Georgescu has been arrested and remains in custody; police say they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the matter.
