"Three teenage burglars who posed as Amazon delivery drivers to steal 3.1million in cryptocurrency were snared just three hours later after posting about it on Snapchat. The then 16 and 17-year-olds videoed themselves driving away from the east London scene in the victim's blue BMW X3. They had travelled from Sheffield before tricking their way into his flat in Hoxton, threatening the occupant with large knives and forcing him to hand over the digital currency, as well as his car keys."
"Ring doorbell camera footage released by the Metropolitan Police shows one of the young thieves at his front door with a parcel in hand. A robber then films the victim making the transfer, before CCTV captures one of the gang running away down the street. In another clip uploaded to social media from the vehicle for likes, the teenagers can be seen prematurely celebrating with vapes in hand. One says: New whip (car) and that, yeah. Another brags: Everyone that doubted us, fam."
