Meghan Markle, Prince Harry 'have to keep Netflix on board' as contract end date looms: expert
Briefly

As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry face the expiration of their $100 million contract with Netflix, they must secure a follow-on deal amid disappointing viewership for their recent cooking series. While 'With Love, Meghan' garnered only 12.6 million hours in its first week, significantly lower than their previous docuseries, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams highlights the importance of maintaining a partnership with Netflix. Despite challenges, Fitzwilliams suggests there's potential for a future contract, albeit likely at a less lucrative rate than before. Netflix’s recognition of Markle's efforts indicates some level of ongoing collaboration may occur.
They have to get Netflix and have to keep them on board. I think they will get something from Netflix in the future, that seems to be the sign because the head of content at Netflix appeared to be appreciating their efforts.
Certainly for the Sussexes it is far from encouraging. I would be amazed if it was anything like what they planned when they first signed.
