Mayo woman (73) dies after being struck by bus in London

Kathleen Kilcoyne, aged 73, was struck by a bus on Neasden Lane in Brent, west London, at 17.58pm on Sunday, August 17. Paramedics rushed to the scene and she was later pronounced dead. The Metropolitan Police reported that no arrests have been made and that the bus driver is cooperating with their investigations. Ms Kilcoyne was from Ashleam on Achill island and had lived in London for several years; five of her seven sisters live in London. Funeral details have not yet been announced. She was predeceased by parents Anthony and Margaret, infant twin sister Noirin, sisters Rosaleen, Sally and Maureen, and nephew Tommy.
