Man admits assaulting woman who was drugged and raped by former husband
"Dean Hamilton, 47, appeared at Winchester crown court on Friday, where he admitted one count of rape, one count of assault by penetration and two counts of sexual assault against Joanne Young, 48, who can be named as she has waived her right to anonymity. Hamilton, of Compton Dundon in Somerset, was granted conditional bail and would be sentenced at a later date, Wiltshire police said in a statement."

Joanne Young waived her right to anonymity. Philip Young, 49, previously pleaded guilty to nearly 50 offences including drugging, raping and sexually assaulting his former wife. Four other men have pleaded not guilty to various sexual offences and are due to face trial at Winchester crown court in October. Police are appealing for help to identify another man described as large-built, with scarring on the back of his head and a distinctive chest tattoo. Young served as a Conservative councillor on Swindon borough council.
