Cheshire Constabulary confirmed that Lucy Letby has been interviewed under caution regarding unexpected deaths and collapses of infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital and Liverpool Women's Hospital.
Lucy Letby is already serving a rare whole-life sentence for murdering seven babies and attempting to kill seven others, highlighting the severity of her crimes as a neonatal nurse.
Detectives are currently reviewing the care of approximately 4,000 babies who were admitted to the hospitals where Letby worked, focusing on medically concerning cases during her tenure.
The investigation includes events during Letby's time at the Countess of Chester Hospital (January 2012 to June 2016) and her training placements at Liverpool Women's Hospital.
