Thomas Wei Huang, a 17-year-old public schoolboy, was sentenced to life in prison for assaulting two sleeping students and a teacher at Blundell's School. After claiming to be sleepwalking, he was found guilty of attempted murder by jury.
The judge highlighted that experts could not determine how long the defendant would remain a risk to the public, leading to a life sentence with a 12-year minimum term.
