'Family Ties' star Justine Bateman slams Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's 'Victim Olympics campaign'
Briefly

In a recent blog post, actress Justine Bateman criticized Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for consistently portraying themselves as victims since stepping back from royal duties in 2020. Commenting on Markle's Netflix show, Bateman suggested it flopped due to the public's weariness with the Sussexes' narrative. She emphasized that their recent ventures stem from a so-called 'Victim Olympics' approach, and expressed that audiences have moved past wanting to watch individuals 'playact' at success they did not authentically earn. Bateman reiterated that the public deserves the right to reject their narrative.
The problem with Meghan Markle (and her husband, Harry) is that every opportunity they have explored or exploited over the past few years has been due to their very aggressive Victim Olympics campaign.
No one wants to watch someone playact at something they didn't earn, adding that she has even created the couple's own gold medal.
It's 2025, and no one wants to see victims anymore. People have the right not to go along with another's 'narrative' anymore.
Bateman slammed Duchess Meghan’s Netflix show, saying it received disappointing viewership because people are tired of their 'victim Olympics.'
