Aria Thorpe, aged nine, was pronounced dead at a house in Lime Close, Weston-super-Mare, after suffering a stab wound. Police attended the residential address on Monday evening and arrested a teenage boy shortly after; he has been charged with murder and remanded to youth detention, due to appear at Bristol Crown Court.
