A 28-year-old former Metropolitan Police special constable has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting a child. The individual, from Chesham, Buckinghamshire, was also convicted of raping a young woman he met online while pretending to be a 16-year-old girl. Throughout the trial at Amersham Law Courts, he was referred to by his biological sex, despite identifying as male at the time of the offences.
