Police forces across the UK are investigating allegations related to Jeffrey Epstein after two million documents were released by the US Department of Justice. The National Police Chiefs' Council established a national co-ordination group to support forces requesting information from overseas law enforcement. The NPCC is working with the National Crime Agency to provide specialist assistance and use approved channels. Authorities warn that assessing the material will take time because of volume and complex international jurisdictions. Surrey Police are examining alleged human trafficking and sexual assaults on a minor in Virginia Water dating back to 1994. Essex Police and other forces are also engaged in enquiries and are encouraging witnesses to come forward.
