Eight activists have been charged with criminal damage for two separate incidents in London. Four individuals dumped manure at The Ritz Hotel on December 3, 2025. Another four threw crumble and custard at the Crown Jewels display on December 6, 2025. The group, Take Back Power, claims responsibility for these actions, advocating for a citizen's assembly to address wealth inequality. All defendants are scheduled to appear in court within two weeks. Earlier, 15 activists were arrested for alleged plans of mass shoplifting in London.
