MPs have issued a stark warning about the impact of cuts to local authorities as drug-related deaths claim nearly 3,000 lives across England every year.
Drug use among young people remains high, with 19 per cent of 16-24 year olds reporting having taken drugs in 2022. Despite this, there has been a sharp decrease in the number of young people receiving treatment.
