Declan Muers, 27, was caught on footage driving home from a nightclub in Nottingham, crashing into parked cars and disregarding multiple red lights while over the limit.
Muers was sentenced to 16 months, suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to a series of offenses including dangerous driving and drink-driving.
Nottinghamshire Police noted that Muers should have taken a taxi home instead of risking lives by driving while under the influence, ultimately losing his driver’s license.
The police stated that Muers's decision to drive instead of paying for a taxi has resulted in severe legal consequences, highlighting the dangers of drink-driving.
