Two buses collided on Newington Causeway in south London at 08:06 GMT on Wednesday. One of the buses smashed into the window frontage of Southwark Playhouse Borough, damaging the theatre entrance and scattering debris onto the pavement. Emergency services attended and the London Ambulance Service treated a number of people at the scene. Six people were taken to hospital for further treatment. The road remains closed in both directions while responders manage the incident and secure the area. No arrests have been made in connection with the collision.
