Mr. Carbstrong is making a documentary called Pignorant to shed light on the cruel use of gas chambers in UK abattoirs, highlighting the need for animal rights protection.
The arrests came after secret footage revealed a worker hitting pigs before placing them in gas chambers at the slaughterhouse which supplies major supermarkets.
Activists, including Joey Carbstrong, believe that the pig industry is hiding the realities of animal cruelty in UK abattoirs and are calling attention to the issue.
