A survey conducted by Santander found that 31 per cent of companies want to see a reduction in post-Brexit regulatory requirements, including customs procedures, obtaining appropriate licenses for trading, and strengthened mutual recognition of professional standards and qualifications across Europe.
Dr. Mike Galsworthy, Chairman of the European Movement, stated that Brexit has introduced new layers of bureaucracy, making it a far worse situation for UK businesses compared to being part of the EU.
