This Beverly Hills, California, Hotel Was Just Reimagined With a New Peruvian Restaurant and a Chic Pool Deck
"I have a long history of working in the area: first, for the late-night talk show host Merv Griffin, who purchased the Beverly Hilton hotel back in the late '80s, and later, for the Beverly Hills Courier. And for the last 15 years, I've known this hotel as Mr. C Beverly Hills, a celebrity hot spot by the Cipriani family, known for their worldwide supper club empire."
""What excites me most is seeing locals rediscover the property as a place that truly belongs to them," says Sonesh Mool, the general manager of Cameo, in an interview with Travel + Leisure. "Cameo is designed as a relaxed yet refined gathering spot for Beverly Hills, whether that's cocktails at Silhouette, dinner at Zampo, or an afternoon by the pool.""
Cameo Beverly Hills reopened under Hilton's LXR portfolio in December 2025 after a $30 million renovation. The 138 rooms and 12 suites occupy a suburban Beverly Hills location within walking distance of Beverly Drive and Rodeo Drive. The spa, fitness center, and poolside area are being refreshed while the lobby lounge bar and 12th-floor Starlight Ballroom with panoramic views remain. The ground-floor restaurant is now Peruvian-inspired Zampo. Design by Premier yields a quieter Los Angeles enclave with old Hollywood glam. The property positions itself as a relaxed yet refined gathering spot for locals and travelers.
