"I'd been at the property just three years earlier, back when the estate was still Cas Gasi, a beloved boutique hotel and one of the island's first agroturismos, an independently owned farm. For 25 years, Cas Gasi drew a loyal following of tranquility- and privacy-seekers who treated the family-owned finca like a home-away-from-home. It was one of my favorite Balearic Island hideaways, and I feared Soho House might stamp out what was there before, imposing its own singular vibe and aesthetic."
""Bienvenida a Ibiza," said Pepe Fernández, the general manager. As he led me around the reimagined estate, Fernández was quick to note that many of Cas Gasi's staff had stayed on, and the most loyal guests had been offered fast-tracked memberships, so they could keep coming back. His own hippie parents had moved to Ibiza in the 1970s, and he spoke with conviction about preserving the creativity and authenticity that first drew outsiders to the island."
Ibiza continues to attract free spirits, wellness seekers, and partygoers, and Soho House has opened a boutique hotel and clubhouse on a centuries-old finca near Santa Gertrudis. Vintage cars and stylish guests populate the estate's newly reimagined grounds. The property was previously Cas Gasi, an independently owned agroturismo that cultivated a loyal following for 25 years. Many of the former staff remained, and loyal patrons were offered fast-tracked memberships to maintain continuity. General manager Pepe Fernández emphasized preserving the island's creativity and authenticity while introducing Soho House interiors and year-round programming such as talks, book launches, and screenings.
