Delta Adds New Routes to the Caribbean

Delta Air Lines is set to expand its service to the Caribbean and Latin America with new routes beginning December 20. The airline will introduce nonstop flights from Atlanta to St. Vincent and Grenada, making it the sole U.S. carrier offering direct service to these destinations. Additionally, Delta will add flights to 14 more Caribbean and Latin American destinations, benefiting travelers from various U.S. cities. This move aims to cater to increased demand for winter travel options to warmer locales.
"With two brand-new destinations in the Eastern Caribbean, Delta is expanding its offering in the region, with even more seats to Latin America and the Caribbean this winter," Paul Baldoni, senior vice president of network planning at Delta, said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure.
"Customers across the U.S. will also benefit from more flights to top destinations from hubs in the Midwest and Northeast, as well as new direct service from key cities like Austin, Nashville and Raleigh-Durham," Baldoni said in the statement.
Delta Air Lines is launching new nonstop flights from Atlanta to St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as Grenada, marking an expansion in service to the Caribbean.
The airline will also connect more direct flights to Cancun from various major U.S. airports, indicating growth in service demand for Caribbean travel.
