On Thursday morning, an automated teller machine (ATM) was stolen from a TD Bank branch located in Brampton, causing damage to the building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Peel Regional Police responded to an alarm call around 4:30 a.m. and found evidence of the break-in. While the police did not confirm the theft of the ATM, TD Bank has stated they are cooperating with the investigation. Customers were advised to use other nearby branches with accessible ATMs and the bank has apologized for the inconvenience this incident may cause.
