Tesla, in partnership with Arevon, has enhanced the Eland solar project in Southern California, creating one of the largest energy storage sites in the U.S. with 300 MW/1.2 GWh capacity. The facility now hosts 172 Megapack units alongside 1.36 million solar panels. This project aims to support local renewable energy goals and power approximately 200,000 homes annually. As part of a broader commitment to renewable energy, it also features controls for optimal power output to the grid, aiding Los Angeles in its target to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2035.
