'The Race' rapper Tay-K convicted of murder for the second time
Briefly

Rapper Tay-K, real name Taymor McIntyre, has been convicted for murder twice, previously sentenced to 55 years for a home invasion-related killing. Now, he faces an additional 5 to 99 years for the murder of photographer Mark Anthony Saldivar while evading arrest. Although guilty for Saldivar's death, the jury did not convict him of capital murder. His defense contends that the investigation relied too heavily on witness statements, claiming that proper protocol was not followed in the case against him.
Taymor McIntyre is not guilty of capital murder, murder, or manslaughter, and the reason for that is very simple... this case clearly demonstrates the work wasn't done right.
The jury found Tay-K guilty of murdering Mark Anthony Saldivar but did not convict him of capital murder, which carries an automatic life sentence.
