Rockets' VanVleet out with knee, ankle soreness
Briefly

Rockets guard Fred VanVleet will miss the upcoming game against the Utah Jazz due to knee and right ankle soreness. After struggling in his last game against the Lakers, where he shot poorly, VanVleet's discomfort has led coach Ime Udoka to indicate it might be a lingering issue for the rest of the season. In 57 appearances this season, VanVleet is averaging 14.3 points and 5.6 assists, having previously missed 16 games due to an ankle strain.
A little bit of knee soreness and some ankle as well in the ankle he injured. He felt it a little bit after the back-to-back.
He might not have been his best in the L.A. game, but he tried to play through it.
