In a since-deleted Instagram story from new arrival Dennis Schroder, the Raptors' new City Edition jerseys were very briefly leaked. This year's uni features an all-gold front with black accents instead of the traditional black with gold accents. The mid-2010s 'Toronto' lettering is coming back on the front of the jersey.
While the jerseys look fine, and they avoided going into the horrible tier alongside teams like the Bulls, this feels like playing it safe from a design point of view. Toronto is such a bold, vibrant, diverse city. Why have they just rearranged the proverbial deck chairs for years?
