Scottie Barnes, Fred VanVleet, and the rest of the Toronto Raptors did not end 2022 on a very emphatic note, as they won just five games in December and slipped all the way to 11th in the NBA standings.They need to hit the ground running in 2023 if they want to be taken seriously as a playoff team.This season has been an experiment in Murphy's Law for the Raptors, as many of their best players have struggled with injuries and they've been on the wrong end of some rotten luck in close games.
