Leafs coach Berube tweaks forwards for Game 6; Matthews and Marner remain together | CBC News
Briefly

Maple Leafs' coach Craig Berube is making strategic changes for Game 6 in their playoff series against the Florida Panthers, adjusting the lineup by including Calle Jarnkrok and Pontus Holmberg. The team is facing elimination down 3-2. Star forwards Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner will remain together despite their lack of scoring. Berube noted the importance of trusting their longstanding partnership. Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues will miss his second game due to injury. Game 7 would occur in Toronto if necessary, with the pressure mounting for this must-win game.
"I liked our game with the other guys in the lineup," Berube said of making two changes to his bottom-6 forward group. "Other guys are rested, ready to go. We played good hockey with that lineup we have (for Game 6)."
"It's always a consideration," Berube said. "I've split them up this year at times, and I never felt that it really did anything, to be honest. These guys have been a combo for a long time. I trust them. I believe in them."
