Subway service on Line 1 in Toronto had been halted for nearly an hour Wednesday evening due to signal issues, causing significant delays for commuters.
Service was completely shut down between St. George and Finch stations as the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) addressed the signal problems, impacting many riders.
Although service resumed shortly after 6 p.m., passengers were advised to expect residual delays as the agency continues to investigate the cause of the issue.
