The TTC announced that there will be no subway service at 11 stations on Line 1 this weekend as part of essential track maintenance work.
Replacement shuttle buses will run to ensure passenger connectivity at all affected stations; Wheel-Trans buses are available for those needing further assistance.
The TTC emphasized that while maintenance usually occurs nightly, some projects necessitate weekend and early weeknight service interruptions to maintain infrastructure integrity.
Additionally, streetcar services in the west end will be disrupted due to track work, and the Etobicoke Lakeshore Santa Claus Parade will cause further service changes.
