The stabbing occurred at Dundas station on Line 1 at about 1:10 p.m. A TTC employee was stabbed and a male suspect was arrested at the scene; the suspect was also injured. Both the victim and the suspect were taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to Toronto paramedics. Police maintain a large presence in the area. The transit agency expressed that it was deeply disturbed, called the attack unacceptable against someone serving customers and the city, offered wishes for a full recovery, emphasized safety as a top priority, and said it is working closely with Toronto Police to ensure accountability and prevent such incidents.
