On the evening of Sept. 24, three suspects engaged in a physical confrontation with 42-year-old Yueyuan Dong at a Scarborough establishment near Sheppard Avenue E. and Brimley Road. Dong was shot during the altercation and succumbed to his injuries in October. A 29-year-old Toronto man surrendered to police and has been charged with second-degree murder. Two other suspects, a 29-year-old from Markham and a 28-year-old from Brampton, remain outstanding. Authorities are seeking information from the public and urge anyone with relevant details to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
