The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) announced that there is no subway service running between Islington and Ossington stations due to a delay in track work at High Park Station.
In light of the service interruption on Line 2, shuttle buses have been activated, providing transit from Kipling to Ossington stations to assist affected commuters.
A TTC spokesperson mentioned that the installation of a new piece of rail at High Park was postponed, leading to a longer than expected service disruption.
As of now, the TTC has not provided an estimated time for when regular subway services between the impacted stations will resume.
