Subway service is shut down on Line 2 between Kipling and Jane stations due to a hydraulic fluid leak. The leak occurred from a TTC work car, prompting a cleanup by crews. Shuttle buses are operating between the affected stations. This incident marks the second consecutive day of service disruptions for the TTC, following a two-hour shutdown on Line 1 caused by necessary overnight track work at St. Clair West station.
Subway service is shut down for a portion of Line 2 this morning due to a hydraulic fluid leak. Service is down between Kipling and Jane stations as of 5:34 a.m.
Shuttle buses are running between the two stations. The shutdown is because a TTC work car leaked hydraulic fluid onto the track, which crews are in the process of cleaning.
This is the second day in a row the TTC has had service disruptions on one of its subway lines. On Wednesday morning, a chunk on Line 1 was shut down.
That service disruption was because additional time was needed to complete and clear overnight track work at St. Clair West station.
