Toronto Police will conduct a targeted enforcement campaign on micromobility safety from Monday through Sept. 13. The campaign covers e-bikes, e-scooters and regular pedal-powered bicycles described as small, compact, low-speed vehicles. The effort aligns with a City of Toronto public awareness campaign urging proper bike-lane and sidewalk behavior. Enforcement will concentrate on school safety zones and on drivers who speed, drive aggressively, are distracted or impaired, and those who park or drive in cycle lanes. Officers will speak with individuals and indicate that not every interaction will result in a ticket.
