A 64-year-old man walking in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario was struck and killed by a dump truck just after 4 a.m. The collision occurred near Bloomington Road and Kennedy Road E. Emergency responders arrived and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck driver remained at the scene following the collision. Roads in the vicinity were closed to traffic and drivers were asked to avoid the area. Investigators requested that anyone with information about the incident contact police.
