Ontario's Energy Minister, Stephen Lecce, has announced plans to explore three potential sites for new electricity generation facilities as the province anticipates a 75% increase in demand by 2050.
With an eye towards 2035 and beyond, Lecce emphasized the necessity for Ontario to secure additional power sources, stating, "We need to be proactive in meeting future electricity demands as the need skyrockets."
